McArthur River Mining  operates the McArthur River Mine (MRM) which is located approximately 900 kilometres South East of Darwin and approximately 60kms West

of the township of Borroloola.  At McArthur River Mining they are committed to the goal of sustainable development by integrating and balancing environmental, social and economic considerations in their

governance and decision-making.

As part of the Phase 3 expansion of McArthur River Mine, the construction of new Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Crushing areas necessitates the provision of the associated

Electrical and Instrumentation Works for these facilities. ICE were awarded this $5m contract after recently completing the Electrical and Instrumentation for the Rougher Flotation circuit.

  • 22,000M Instrument Cable
  • 4,500M Communications Cable
  • Controls for 2KM of conveyor (Pull Switches, Block Chutes, Alarms, Underspeeds, Belt Drift, Belt Rip, etc)
  • Water suppression controls, instrumentations and impulse tubing
  • Lighting and general purpose power outlets
